Former Microsoft Director Mark Chestnut Joins Laplink Software


Nov 29, 2005 - Mark Chestnut, former Microsoft Senior Director, OEM Business Development, will head Laplink's OEM division as SVP Business Development and Corporate Sales.

Laplink Software is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Chestnut as SVP Business Development and Corporate Sales. Mr. Chestnut brings 16 years" management experience at Microsoft, including 9 years in Microsoft"s OEM division, where he led Microsoft"s worldwide OEM marketing group and most recently directed worldwide OEM business development.

"His experience at Microsoft and his success in directing channel activities make him a perfect fit for Laplink. We have always had a strong relationship with our OEM, reseller, and VAR partners. Mr. Chestnut will manage Laplink"s North American corporate sales and business development, and will also direct the company"s worldwide OEM activities. He joins Koll, who was formerly Vice President of Microsoft's Network Solutions Group, as one more Microsoft alumnus now at Laplink.
