Following the release of Laplink Gold 12, Laplink releases FileMover for the North American market. FileMover offers the power of Laplink"s world-leading file transfer capabilities and ease-of-use design in a low-cost application. FileMover is a simple but powerful standalone file transfer program that transfers files securely and quickly between PCs via a network, USB or serial cable.

The connection can then be saved as a One Step Connection, allowing that connection to be reestablished in the future with a single click.
FileMover is available online from Laplink at www.laplink.com. Physical MSRP (includes both a Laplink USB 1.1 and a Laplink serial cable) is US $49.95; the download is just US $39.95. FileMover is also available at Microcenter, CompUSA, Frys and other software retailers throughout the USA. Prior owners of Laplink products are eligible for a $20 rebate if purchased from an authorized retailer.
