LapLink Inc., the world leader in file transfer, synchronization and remote control software, today announced the launch of its newest product, PCsync 3.0, the fast and easy utility for file transfer and migration. PCsync 3.0 provides consumers and businesses the complete software and hardware solution for ultra-fast file transfer, synchronization and personality migration to a new computer.

PCsync 3.0 offers new and enhanced product features that make it the ultimate way to migrate personal files and personality settings to a new computer, transfer files, synchronize folders, manage MP3 files/playlists and share files.

Surf Up - Securely accesses files on a remote computer via any web browser, anywhere in the world. Options include new bi-directional file transfer, retrieval of files, placing new files into a shared directory and updating files already stored on the remote computer.

PCMover - Migrates a computer's files, directories, application settings and personality to a new computer. Newly enhanced to move settings from over 45 of the most popular PC applications. Options include desktop, network and OS settings, browser settings, Outlook settings and more (see footnote for complete list of applications supported).

MusicMover - Organizes music files, then transfers playlists and the files themselves to another computer. Allows sharing of MP3s and playlists over the Internet, with other PCsync users. New features include new easy -play by album- option, new -random instant playlist- and flexible creation of custom playlists.

Push Install - Installs PCsync directly to a second computer via the included serial cable. Enables installation of PCsync on a second computer with no CD-ROM drive.

Support for Windows XP - Extends file transfer and synchronization features to the newest Microsoft operating system, Windows XP, and links to computers running all previously released Microsoft Windows versions including 95/98/Me/NT/2000.

SmartXchange - Delivers lightning fast transfer speeds, transferring only the portions of files that have changed, rather than the entire files. Easily automates the task of regular file transfers between remote PCs, saving valuable time.
